Today, EA Sports is releasing an update refreshing the gameplay of EA Sports FC 25, which is a major overhaul of on-pitch performance including defense, passing, shooting, goalkeeping and player movement after the changes are applied. Some of the changes include preventing defenders from catching up to attacking players as quickly and reducing the number of AI interceptions.

In our EA Sports FC 25 review I said: “EA Sports FC 25 is a slightly better deal than FC 24 thanks to the new Rush mode. FC IQ is still in its early stages of development, and while it could have a huge impact on future titles, it’s not too obvious yet how it will impact the action on the pitch in this game. This is EA Sports FC as you know it. Whether that’s good or bad is up to you.”
