It’s all over for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as its latest update is now available on Steam. Episode 8: Balance, as it is officially known, adds a recent Infamy set based on the supervillain Libra, as well as a recent exotic weapon Notorious and a recent mission for the final battle with Brainiac.
The biggest change, of course, is the addition of an offline mode, which gives you access to the main story campaign and all subsequent seasonal content without having to be online. Suicide Squad was released without an offline mode, which did not do its favor: in December 2023, Rocksteady committed to adding such a mode in a post-launch update, but more pressing and pressing issues with the game prevented developers from addressing it in any way in a timely manner .
Suicide Squad wasn’t the five-alarm disaster some people expected before release, but it wasn’t very good either: “Glimpses of greatness,” PC Gamer’s Morgan Park said in his 67% of reviewswhich are ruined by a impoverished story mode, uninteresting loot, and the excess work required to get to the good stuff. The number of concurrent players dropped rapidly, and publisher Warner Bros. said shortly after its release that the sales of Suicide Squad “it did not meet our expectations“
In June 2024, Warner committed to completing “Suicide Squad”currently announced action plan“ future content releases is really just another way of saying there won’t be anything more beyond that, and the ax has officially fallen in December.
The good news for those who are still playing is that after the update, Suicide Squad’s online features will still work, so you’ll still be able to take down the bad guys with your friends.

MEDIEVAL GENIUS
In Episode 8: Balance, you’ll delve deeper into medieval Elseworld, with twists on familiar landmarks and recent locations. Take your mission to The Quarry, a fortified citadel that you will need to besiege if you want to triumph over the tyrant Brainiac. The arena is the perfect setting for jousting tournaments or interdimensional wars, and the statues of King Jor-El and Queen Lara Lor-Van are sure to inspire admiration for an age of chivalry and honor.
LIBRA INFAMY SET
The Infamy set for Episode 8 is inspired by Libra, an extremely unsafe DC supervillain obsessed with balance. This fascination with balance carries over to his Infamy set, which applies charges Scales of Libra on enemies, increasing both the damage they deal and take by 50% per stack. This makes it a high-risk, high-reward set that encourages a bold and vigorous playstyle.
KNOWN WEAPONS
The Silencer set is the perfect complement to the Infamy Waga set Complete silence. Inspired by the deadly Suppressor assassin, this weapon set deals an additional 200% damage to any enemy affected by Libra’s Scale stacks. However, Alternate Shot is where this weapon really shines, dealing 1000% extra damage and creating a Silence Zone where the enemy is hit. Enemies standing in Silence Zones deal 100% reduced damage, making it a great crowd control tool while you and your team deal earnest damage.
Doctor Sivana’s Magic Missiles are a great way to kill lots of enemies very quickly. This weapon’s projectiles pierce enemies, apply a charge of Scales, and have a chance to shock enemies hit. If you can cleverly position yourself to lock down multiple enemies with one shot, this shocking weapon can wipe out an entire army.
Chronos Balance maxes out the glass cannon playstyle by dealing 25% extra damage for every 1% of shield missing, encouraging a unsafe but incredibly powerful playstyle that keeps you constantly in the hefty of the fight.
