Rune Giant is a fresh card that was released in Royal clash To celebrate this, the developers have launched a fresh event. The premise of this event is quite straightforward: one of the slots in your deck will be set as a Rune Giant, and you must build a deck around it.
So finding a great Rune Giant deck can be a bit of a challenge. To lend a hand you with this, here is the best deck you can exploit in the Rune Giant event Royal clash.
The best deck for the Rune Giant event in Clash Royale
- Rune Giant
- Archers
- Hunter
- Goblin Giant
- Fisherman
- Guards
- Arrows
- Rage
You can’t have two evolutions in your deck because Rune Giant is locked and you can’t move it to other slots. So your evolution choice is between Goblin Giant and Archers. You can take anyone: Goblin Giants if you want to be more offensive, or Archers if you want more defense.
Your main attack is a combination of Rune Giant and Goblin Giant. Place the Rune Giant in front with the support of the Goblin Giant. Use the Rage spell only when you want to reach the enemy tower faster or when you are besieged by mini-units.
You can exploit the Fisherman to hook any enemy unit that is choking your push. Also, don’t rely too much on Arrows to attack until you see the Firecracker, Dart Gobin, and Minion Hoardes.
You can field Archers or Hunters if you want, but I usually refrain from using them unless it’s a double or triple elixir phase. The average elixir in this deck is 3.5, so it gets easier as the match progresses. Basically, you can spam any card during the triple elixir phase.
When it comes to defense, Hunters and Archers will be the best choices. So be careful not to place them close to each other as they can easily get killed by a fireball, rocket, poison, etc. You can fly your opponent and push through the Guardians, where the Archers will lend a hand you defeat the enemies. Also remember that Arrows can completely eliminate both Guards and Archers, so make sure to keep some distance between them.
You can exploit arrows to defeat cloned enemies, Goblin Barrell, or even as a last line of defense. But as mentioned earlier, the match becomes easier once you enter the double elixir phase. So don’t make hasty decisions in the single potion phase. You can also exploit Rage to speed up your defense and trust me, this move doesn’t look desperate.
