Update 20250110 is a major update that will have different effects on different champions. As mentioned above, Marvel Rivals update 20250110 is about balance and not about playing favorites with anyone. Some heroes get huge buffs, including more health, shorter skill cooldowns, and stat boosts to their primary and secondary skills. Others draw shorter straws by losing some of their ability range or worse, reducing overall damage/healing effectiveness.

Vanguard Adjustments
Captain America
- Reduce the shield recovery delay after spending a Living Legend from 3s to 2s.
- Reduces the cooldown of Freedom Charge from 12s to 10s.
- Increases base health from 650 to 675.
- Freedom Charge release energy cost (ultimate) reduced from 3400 to 3100; Reduce the bonus health granted to yourself per second after its release from 110 to 100.
Doctor Strange
- Added damage reduction to Maelstrom of Madness and Gamma Maelstrom. Starting at 5 meters and reducing to 70% at 8 meters.
- Shield recovery rate after releasing Seraph’s Shield has been slightly reduced from 80/s to 70/s.
Thor
- Increases base health from 500 to 525.
- Added resistance to control effects during God of Thunder (ultimate ability).
Pontoon
- Reduce Hero Hulk’s Unbreakable Guard gamma shield value from 250 to 200.
Venom
- Increases the bonus Symbiotic Resistance health gained per health point lost from 1 to 1.2.
- Increases the base damage of Abyssal Feast (Ultimate) from 40 to 50.
Duel regulation
Black Panther
- Reduce the bonus health granted to yourself after refreshing Vibrational Marks with Spirit Sundering from 40 to 30, and the upper limit of bonus health granted from 120 to 75.
Black Widow
- Increase the range of the first Edge Dancer effect from a 3-meter radius to a 5-meter radius.
- Reduce the time it takes Fleet Foot to regenerate stamina from 0 to full from 12 seconds to 4 seconds.
- Reduce the time required to explode electroplasma (ultimate ability) to reach maximum power from 1s to 0.6s.
Hawkeye
- Slightly reduce the dispersion angle between every two Explosive Arrows.
- Reduce the activation distance of Archer’s Focus passive skill from 60 meters to 40 meters.
- Reduce the maximum bonus damage of your passive from 80 to 70.
Hela
- Base health decreased from 275 to 250.
Magic
- Increases Darkchild’s Umbral Incursion damage from 115 to 135.
Moon Knight
- Increase the number of claws generated by Khonshu Hand (Ultimate) from 10 to 14
- Increase the explosion radius of each claw from 4 meters to 5 meters.
Namor
- Customize the casting effect of Monstro Spawn and Frozen Spawn. Now Namor can throw them precisely where he wants them to be.
Psylocke
- Now Butterfly Dance (ultimate ability) will check barriers (including Magneto’s Metal Bastion, Hulk’s Unbreakable Guard, etc.).
Punisher
- Slightly reduce Deliverance’s spread.
The Scarlet Witch
- Chaos Control constant damage increased from 50/s to 60/s.
- Damage per second percentage decreased from 5% to 3%.
- Increases Chthonian Burst projectile damage from 30 to 35.
Storm
- Increases Wind Blade projectile speed from 100 m/s to 150 m/s and left mouse button damage from 50 to 55.
- Increases Missile Charge damage from 70 to 80.
- After releasing Omega Hurricane (ultimate ability), the bonus health it grants itself will be increased from 350 to 450. Furthermore, once it ends, the bonus health will no longer disappear instantly, but will instead decrease at a rate of 100 per second.
Squirrel
- Added a modern effect to Undefeated Squirrel Tsunami (ultimate ability): squirrels will run towards the nearest enemy after bouncing, instead of randomly bouncing
- Squirrel Tsunami health reduced from 600 to 300.
Winter Soldier
- Increases the bonus health provided by Bionic Hook and Corrupt Voltage from 30 to 40.
- Roterstern missile damage increased from 70 to 75.
- Reduce splash damage from 70 to 65 and reduce damage decay from 65% at 40 meters to 60%.
- Increases base health from 250 to 275.
Wolverine
- Increases base health from 300 to 350.
- Reduce the damage reduction rate provided by Undead Animal from 50% to 40%.
Strategist corrections
Cloak and dagger
- Reduces the cooldown of Dagger Storm from 15s to 12s.
- Increase the number of dashes in Eternal Bond (ultimate ability) from 3 to 4.
Jeff, the land shark
- Customize It’s Jeff! (ultimate ability) range from 10 m diameter sphere to 10 m radius, 5 m high cylindrical spell field.
- Increases the healing of Joyful Splash from 140/s to 150/s.
Luna Snow White
- Increase the interval between healing and damage in Fate of Both Worlds from 0.1s to 0.5s.
Mantis
- Nature’s Favor (passive) movement bonus reduced from 2.5 m/s to 1.5 m/s.
Rocket Racoon
- Increases healing in Repair Mode from 60/s to 70/s.

- Increases Frozen Spawn’s slowing effect on enemy hits from 25% to 30%.
- Increases the damage dealt by Frozen Spawns in the Berserk state from 16 to 18.

- Reduces the cooldown of Ammunition Invention from 45s to 40s.
Scarlet Witch – Magneto
- Increases Metallic Fusion projectile damage from 55 to 60.
- Increases Metallic Fusion spell field damage from 30 to 35.

- Reduces the cooldown of Charged Gale from 20s to 15s.
