Following claims from gaming insider NateDrake Halo: The Master Chief Collection AND Microsoft’s flight simulator both games will get PS5 versions this year, it looks like the floodgate has opened as other members of the gaming media are sharing what their sources have told them about Microsoft’s third-party strategy. First of all, Jez Cordon from Windows HQ confirms NateDrake’s claims and adds more games to the mix.
According to Cordon, in addition to Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator, the company will also bring Gears of War: Definitive Edition, Senua’s Saga: Hellbade 2AND The age of mythology for PS5.
Microsoft has already announced DOOM: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2 for Sony’s system, which means the company could become one of the biggest and most repeated publishers on PS5 with the potential of all these additional ports. It was recently claimed that Microsoft considers making Hellblade II an exclusive game a mistake, so they apparently want to fix it.
