Now that we’re just a few weeks away from the substantial premiere, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra specifications leaked they come bulky and brisk. The latest details about the Android flagship could be particularly stimulating for mobile gamers, with one tipster pointing to significantly improved performance and cooling technology.
According to an X Leaker post on social media Ahmed QwaiderThe S25 Ultra and its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset deliver 34% and 38% improvements in GPU and CPU performance, respectively, as well as 42% faster cooling rates. With this in mind, we expect the Samsung Galaxy S25 to be on par with the best gaming phones on the market, including the still fresh RedMagic 10 Pro and Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro.
In real terms, the escalate in GPU and CPU performance will likely mean even higher quality gameplay across all top Android games, including demanding titles like Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile. The faster cooling rate is a bit more obvious, but considering the S24 Ultra didn’t have any major issues with overheating, it suggests that the S25 Ultra is the very definition of a chilly client and should be able to handle quite intense loads without getting too balmy.
Of course, we can’t be sure of the suggested specifications until Samsung reveals the phone itself. Fortunately, we already know the official time and date for this month’s Galaxy Unpacked event, the substantial reveal of which will take place live from San Jose, California on January 22 at 10:00 PT / 13:00 ET / 18:00 GMT. More details about the presentation can be found on the website Samsung official website.
We’re keen to get our hands on both the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the entry-level model in the series when they launch later this month to provide our expert opinion on how they compare to last year’s best Samsung phones and their main competition, the Apple phone Devices running iPhone 16. Until then, be sure to check out what other substantial name Android brands have to offer with our guides to the best Google Pixel phones and the best OnePlus phones.
