Substance is easily one of the best horror films to come out in 2024, perhaps the decade, and is currently being distributed Bad published an extensive behind-the-scenes video.

The behind-the-scenes mini-documentary begins with writer/director Coralie Fargeat discussing her intentions for making the film, which is largely due to the lack of representation of women over 50 in films, something that became very personal to her as she grew up. .

Some of the best stuff has to do with all of the film’s special effects, and if you’ve seen the movie you know they’re pretty terrible.
