Prestige returns to Black Ops 6 with novel emblems and lots of rewards.
Prestige in Call of Duty is essentially a rank reset system that gives you items and rewards that you can show off to your friends and other players.
Black Ops 6 improves the prestige function by enabling behavior Some progress as you progress, so you don’t have to struggle so much to get back to where you were before. You’ll also get plenty of in-game cosmetics every ten levels, so there’s something to look forward to in between earning your next prestige.
If the rewards aren’t enough for you, you can take on the extreme challenge of surpassing ten prestige levels and reaching level 1000. This will give you a secret reward and maybe even a preview of the next Call Title of Duty.
The only problem is that it can be a little challenging to find Black Ops 6menu, so let’s facilitate. Here how to gain prestige Black Ops 6what changes when you gain prestige, and all the prestige awards.
Black Ops 6 prestige level required
To gain prestige Black Ops 6you have to get there level 55.
Once you reach level 55, a notification will appear on your screen asking if you want to prestige, allowing you to gain prestige immediately. However, since prestige is a manual process, you can wait if you prefer.
How to gain prestige in Black Ops 6
When you’re ready to gain prestige in Black Ops 6, follow these steps:
- In the main menu, select the “Barracks” tab. Black Ops 6 multiplayer mode.
- Click the “Progress” button.
- Select the “Prestige” option located in the center of the screen.
- Hover over an available prestige level and hold the associated “Prestige Details” button.
- Go to the next screen and hold the button to reset your level and enter prestige.
What changes when you gain prestige
Prestige works similarly to previous Call of Duty titles, where you will lose most of your progress to the novel emblem, but you can keep some of your progress Black Ops 6.

After gaining prestige Black Ops 6the following changes will occur:
- Reset back to level 1
- All unlocked levels will be locked (except base operators, emoticons, zombie gobblegums and enduring unlocks)
- Gear sets will be reset
- Combat stats will be reset to reflect your current prestige level (lifetime stats can be viewed in the Combat Record)
The following items will not be reset:
- Weapon progression, camouflages and meshes
- Weapon structures
- Challenge your progress and unlock
- Shop and Battle Pass content
- Operator and emote unlocked
- Zombie Gobblegums

When you gain prestige Black Ops 6you’ll earn rewards inspired by previous Black Ops titles. For example, the first prestige is based Call of Duty: The World at Warand includes a zombie operator.
A total of ten basic prestige levels are available, with two additional prestige levels for dedicated Call of Duty players. Each prestige level will have one six awards (except Prestige 1 which has seven):
- One enduring unlock
- Loading screen and social wallpaper
- GobbleGum packaging
- Animated emblem
- Spell
- Operator blueprint or skin
Permanent unlocks are granted immediately after gaining prestige and allow you to do so Permanently unlock a single selected item. For example, if you permanently unlock AS VAL, you can utilize it at level one instead of reaching level 55 again.
The remaining five prizes will be awarded to you every ten levels (levels 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50) and will always be in the order of loading screen, GobbleGum pack, animated emblem, amulet, operator blueprint/skin.
