Push the limits of your power
With the game updated to version 3.0, you can look forward to putting your skills to the test in the modern Jeju Island Raid content. You can also see how far you can go now that Sung Jinwoo’s maximum level has been expanded to Lv. 100, along with a modern job change called Master of the Abyss. All this will be joined by a modern hunter, a modern shadow and lots of goodies throughout the month.
Perhaps more significant than these things, however, is the fact that players will be able to experience one of the most stimulating episodes of the original series. In Jeju Island Raid, you will start chapters 21-23 of the game’s main story, where Sung Jinwoo joins forces with a group of Hunters and the Shadow Army to fight the Ant King: a powerful humanoid ant, high intelligence and a powerful armored exoskeleton, making him one of the strongest bosses in the series.
Fresh additions have joined the fight
As for the aforementioned Hunter, Shimizu Akari joins the fight with her Guiding Light special ability, which can unite enemies and inflict pain with her axe. Shimizu is a powerful follower who continues to buff her airy attribute and strengthens her raid team with buffs infused with the power of the sun. With Shimizu Akari on your team, you’ll experience increased firepower with customized enemy debuffs! On the other hand, the modern Shadow Beru offers plenty of modern abilities that you can operate to your advantage – one of them is the Shadow Power ability, which increases the attack and critical hit damage of your team. Additionally, following the plot of the original series in which the Ant King absorbs Min Byung-gu’s power, summoning Beru activates healing-related abilities. Since no other Shadow has the ability to heal, this will allow Beru to establish a prominent role for herself!
The latest update also expands the Shadow promotion system to include the “General” rank. Since Beru became the first General-rank Shadow from the original work, existing Shadows such as Igris and Iron can now be promoted to enhance their powers and unlock modern abilities.
