After PlayStation and Xbox released their annual gamer roundups, Nintendo has now released its own as part of the Nintendo Switch 2024 Year in Review.
The summary is now available on Nintendo website. “Return to 2024 on Nintendo Switch with a personalized year in review,” it says.
By using their Nintendo Account, players will receive a summary of the year, including how many different games they played, how long they played, what the most played game of the year was, and a month-by-month breakdown.
Summary features first gained popularity with music app Spotify, before gaming brands like Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox came on board. PlayStation launched in early December but was broken for a while, although it even revealed historical player stats after launch to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
This may be Nintendo’s last year with only the current Switch in its annual review, with Nintendo Switch 2 expected to be announced in delayed March 2025.
The fresh console is expected to appear in the next fiscal year, at the end of March 2026, but perhaps Nintendo will want to take advantage of the holiday season and release it at the end of 2025.
