Genshin Impact Surging Storm Drill Overview and How to Unlock
Unlocked by visiting the stand at the Knights of Favonius headquarters, the Surging Storm exercise tasks players with completing a series of war games – a series of up to ten matches in which you must operate a randomized set of combat units and stratagems to defeat those collected by other players. Only people who have reached Adventurer level 20+ and completed the game’s prologue can participate in the event.
After each automatic battle, you will be able to draw to upgrade existing units or get more options for your build. Each round (or wargame) will automatically end after ten wins or four losses, and your victories and other achievements will determine how many medals you earn at the end of the round.
If you’re having trouble winning games, I recommend focusing on countering your opponent’s strengths with units that are resistant or untargetable to your opponent, all while using elemental reactions as your greatest tool. Finding a good balance between melee and ranged damage dealers is also critical here, because in addition to their elemental weaknesses and damage types, ranged units will counter fliers, kites will counter melee attacks, and melee attackers will counter ranged picks field.
All Surge Storm Drill rewards and how to get them in Genshin Impact
By participating in the Exercise Surge Storm event, you’ll be able to earn up to 400 Primogems by reaching certain Medal milestones, and also earn an additional 20 by completing a specific challenge. But Primogems won’t come alone. Here are all the Surge Storm rewards and how to get them:
