Arrowhead Game Studios is now giving away prizes Helldivers 2‘S Death Zone 2 crossover elements for free after price criticism.

Yesterday, the developer revealed a brand novel collaboration with Guerrilla Games to create Death Zone 2 collection for the online cooperative shooter in the form of premium content.

Part one of the crossover was published yesterday and includes: Death zone– themed armor set, cape, assault rifle, player title and banner, however some players weren’t too content with the price.

The novel armor alone gets you 500 Super Credits, the cape and helmet are 310, and the assault rifle alone costs 615. One Premium Bond is 1,000 Super Credits, or $9.99 / £7.99, which means the entire Death Zone 2 the collection will be valued at almost twice the value of one War Bond.

In the novel one statement released today, Arrowhead has responded to pricing criticism Helldivers 2Premium content and after talking to Guerrilla Games, decided to give all players the planned second wave Helldivers X Death zone collaboration elements for free today.

“Since this was our first crossover offering, we’ve been listening to the response, and the feedback we’ve received from our community surveys is that crossover content is really high on your wish lists,” the developer said.

“At the same time, some of you are not satisfied with the product prices, so we will reconsider this.”

“Many of you were also concerned that the items wouldn’t be in rotation long enough, and there was some concern about how these items existed outside of our regular War Bond releases, which are always themed around our own universe.

“For this reason, in cooperation with our friends at Guerrilla (and because we are in the season of holiday cheer), we have decided to offer a gift to all players.”

Arrowhead announced that it will also be extending the duration of items currently in the Superstore from five days to 10 “to give players a chance to get them and reduce the risk of missing out.”

The developer added that they are currently working on the rollout Death zone items back into the game permanently and that the novel WASP stratagem will soon be available for all players to unlock as part of a larger order.
