Warframe: 1999 is packed to the brim with up-to-date content, including three brand up-to-date game modes, as well as changes to the familiar ones. But the game doesn’t necessarily explain how to play them all.

But before you dive into the up-to-date game modes, check out the up-to-date Cyte-09 frame, see how to build it and how its sniper rifle works. Then it’s time to sink your teeth in 1999 game modes.

Hell-Scrub is basically a up-to-date version of Survival Warframes. It comes in two flavors: Scaldra and Techrot. They play the same way, only with enemies of each respective faction.

This mode plays like conventional survival mode, but instead of life support pods there are Hell-Scrubbers. They still provide life support when you interact with them, but can become infected with Techrot spores, which can be removed by destroying them with your weapon or skills.

If Techrot takes over the Hell Scrubber, Techrot Babau will appear. When killed, Babau will lose life support, but it will be less than what you get from the Hell Scrubber. However, several up-to-date mods have been added to the game 1999 the update has been removed from Techrot Babaus.

Simply activate the Hell-Scrubbers as needed and after five minutes you will be able to extract.

How to play Legacyte Harvest in Warframe

Legacyte Harvest is a unique mode in the game Warframesbut it plays a bit like Disruption. In Legacyte Harvest, you follow Kalymos underground and guard her as the gauge fills up. Once full, a Legacyte will appear, which is a particularly massive enemy with a lot of health.

Kalymos is indestructible, but the gauge will not fill if she takes damage. Typically, the gauge fills by 1% per second, but Pheroglands can drop from nearby enemies, which can be picked up to augment the gauge by 15% at a time. Either way, it won’t take long to fill the gauge

Once you damage the Legacyte to half health, it will start running towards the Techrot Navel. The Navel can be destroyed, but if left alone, the Legacyte will exploit the Navel to escape, resulting in a mission failure if the Legacyte has not already been defeated at least once.

Once his health is completely depleted, the Legacyte is knocked down and can be captured. You can extract after obtaining the Inheritance, or you can continue and obtain more Inheritance.

How to play Faceoff in Warframe

Faceoff is a PvPvE mode, the first of its kind in the game Warframesand by playing it, you can gain Conclave reputation as opposed to Hex Syndicate reputation. This mode is played by two teams of four, and the goal is to complete a series of three objectives faster than the other team.

There are two Faceoff missions: one is the “Squad vs. Squad” version mentioned and shown above, and the other is “Faceoff: Single Squad” where your team competes against an AI team. The game modes are the same, but if you play against the AI, you will receive fewer rewards than in team vs. team mode.

Vosphorus and up-to-date arcana added 1999 are the main rewards in this mode, although you can earn the Essence of Steel by playing Clash on the Path of Steel. As you might expect, winning against another team (not against the AI) will net you more rewards than you would receive if you lost.

The three objectives you complete during a mission are random, but may be familiar tasks, e.g Destroy Or Attempt as well as a number of tasks specific to Faceoff:

  • Data burning: Send data. It works like Excavation. The server will start transmitting data and you must power the server with gas canisters carried by enemies. Once an enemy with a gas canister is defeated, it will be dropped and you can pick it up to bring it to the server.
  • Techrot scan: Keep your scanner alive. This works like defense, except that you protect the scanner. There are jammers that you can destroy to reduce the time it takes to protect the scanner. If the scanner is destroyed, the timer stops until the scanner regenerates.
  • Pirate Radio: Keep transmitting. Like Techrot Scan, you’ll protect your radio while it floats on a balloon. Jammers appear and you can destroy them to shorten the required protection time. If the radio fails, the timer will stop until the balloon respawns.
  • Stash: Unlock the mailbox. Marked areas on the map can be searched to find keys. Deliver the keys to your box and once you have delivered five keys, the goal will be completed. If you don’t deliver all five keys before the time limit expires, your stash will explode instead.

Once you achieve these goals, you can find various buffs for your team as well as penalties for the other team. Check out patch notes for a complete list of reinforcements and penalties.

Exterminate in Warframe: 1999 plays like, well, Exterminate. But there is a up-to-date optional objective in the game 1999 Extermination Missions: Opening Scaldra’s supply stashes. Opening these boxes rewards you with one of the up-to-date secrets added in 1999 update, but also sends stronger enemies.

To open Scaldra’s Supply Stash, you must find Efervon Charges. You need as many Efervon Charges as you have in your party plus one. So, with a full squad, you’ll need to find five Efervon Charges. Efervon Charges are located near the stash, but you will have to look for them.

Pillars of green airy indicate Efervon charges, and if you’re close enough to one, a yellow indicator will appear directly above them. Efervon Payload locations are immobile, but are tied to cache spawn locations, and a cache can spawn in different locations on the map.
