It’s time to rise again, Tarnished. If you have been thinking about your adventures in the world Elden’s Ring ended after completing the DLC, FromSoftware has a surprise for you in the form of an upcoming video game. Nightreign Elden Ring was a shocker when it debuted at The Game Awards 2024 and has been in constant competition ever since Yotei’s spirit AND GTA6 for the title of the most anticipated upcoming game on PlayStation 5. However, this is not exactly it Elden Ring 2. Nightreign Elden Ring will be the studio’s most unique game, despite its celebrated name. We invite you to exploit our assist and you will learn everything you need to know Nightreign Elden Ring.
This is another amazing upcoming Xbox Series X game and upcoming PC game, but unfortunately it’s not on the invigorating list of upcoming Switch games.
Release date window
For now Nightreign Elden Ring is expected to appear sometime in 2025. FromSoftware is growing extremely speedy, but considering it has just launched Shadow of Erdtree DLC in summer 2024, we would expect at least a year between releases.

Platforms
Because it is made of the same bones as Elden Ring, Elden Ring Nightreign will be available on all the same platforms. This applies to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Trailers
We have our introduction Nightreign Elden Ring during The Game Awards 2024 with a full gameplay trailer. We see a familiar yet unique game landscape called Limveld, which is a parallel world to Limgrave from the base game. We follow a character running away from a closing blue magic circle as the narrator speaks. They inform us that our “redemption seekers” have been united by some unknown force.
The narrative flows through multiple speakers, but it’s as cryptic and impossible to fully interpret at this stage as you’d expect from a FromSoftware game. However, given the nature of the game (which we’ll discuss in the next section), we suspect that story will play an even smaller role in Nightreign Elden Ring than is typical.
Game
This is where Nightreign Elden Ring may turn off some die-hard fans. Instead of being a customary action RPG Elden’s Ring Or Dark Souls, This game is essentially a three-player cooperative roguelite. Each of you will choose one character class of your choice and set off into a world full of random enemies, locations, bosses and loot. There is also an encroaching barrier similar to the Battle Royal game. But don’t be fooled. Nightreign Elden Ring there are no PvP elements at all and only PvE. If you and your team managed to survive until the zone is at its smallest, you will face the final boss that you chose before starting and who you must defeat to win.
The four classes we know about so far are:
Wylder: armed night with a long sword.
Princess: a skillful rogue with a dagger.
Guard: armored soldier with weighty weapons.
Hermit: group magician.
Supposedly there will be eight classes to choose from, but that’s all we know for sure for now. This means that you will not create your own character and build it as you wish. Instead, everyone will have their own set of weapons, skills and ultimates. For example, we see Wylder using his hook to grab enemies or drag himself around the environment. It looks like all the characters will be able to move around the magical birds, and there’s even some parkour where the characters run around on the walls.
As for the fight itself, everything is fine Nightreign Elden Ring for now it looks basically the same as in Elden’s Ring. You’ll still need to manage stamina, dodge, and exploit weighty and airy attacks. Movement speed has been significantly increased and Torrent has disappeared and fall damage has been removed.
The trailer showed a lot of returning enemies and bosses, but not only that Elden’s Ring. Fans of previous FromSoftware games may notice some captivating bosses that seem to be lifted straight from other games.
We have yet to see how your progress in one run will translate to future attempts, if at all.
Pre-order
You cannot pre-order Nightreign Elden Ring quite yet, but you can add it to your wishlist. There will also be an online test on PS5 and Xbox Series X in February you can sign up from January 10.
