Mobile gaming porters Feral Interactive have just released their latest project, bringing Codemasters Grid Legends: Deluxe Edition to iOS and Android. What does this hit mix of arcade and simulation racing have to offer? Let’s dig into the details and find out.

In Grid Legends you will play the role of a racing car driver. But you won’t just be engaging in Formula 1 or off-road racing, as Grid Legends offers 10 separate disciplines to master; whether it’s high-speed track racing, qualifying events and time trials. You’ll get behind the wheel of high-performance sports cars, trucks and off-road vehicles to dominate 130 different tracks inspired by real racing locations.

Speaking of domination, if you’re worried about not being able to show off your skills, don’t worry. Because you will be able to see your times posted on online leaderboards and compared to competitors from all over the world. Take part in weekly and monthly lively events to see if you can finish at the top of your class. Or you can simply operate Photo Mode to show off your race day highlights.

Off the asphalt

If you thought that was the end of it, you would be wrong, as Grid Legends is also available bundled with the Driven to Glory story mode. Here you’ll watch live cutscenes that take you through the twists and turns of the Grid World Series in stunning detail.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Deluxe Edition if it didn’t include Grid Legends All previously released DLC that will put hours of gameplay at your fingertips. Suffice it to say, I have a feeling Grid Legends will be a winner for any racing fan.

Moving seems like huge business these days, but why is it? Well, why not read on to read editor Dann Sullivan’s take on the so-called Port Season?
