Last week, Riot Games revealed its existence Project Kreal world trading card game. The timing is perfect to capitalize on the momentum created by Secret season 2, continued popularity League of Legendsand the overall TCG zeitgeist. Now the developers have explained how to actually play the game and, unsurprisingly, it includes elements from all your favorite TCG games. There’s one essential detail to note from the very beginning: it’s much more than that Legends of Runeterra.
Dave Guskin from Riot Games shared the post on X describing all rules and regulations in detail. The goal is to acquire various battlefield cards, with each battlefield captured gaining one point, and each turn maintaining control of the battlefield gaining another point. The first player to score eight points wins, and up to four people can play in one game.

It looks like it should be a fairly quick game, but the winning point cannot be earned by conquering the battlefield; instead, you must hold the existing battlefield to gain the final point or capture all battlefields in one turn.
Riot Games will provide a demo version Project K at the Team Fight Tactics Macao event. Guskin says there are four pre-made decks to choose from, each with a different hero. Choose between Jinx, Viktor, Yasuo or Volibear; Each hero has a different combination of traits and skills that make him unique in the game.
The decks are built around a single Legendary Hero unit, similar to Commander decks Magic: The Gathering. Decks consist of 40 cards, with three copies of any card in the deck. The only caveat is that the cards must match your champion’s color scheme.
Project K launch is scheduled for 2025. Anyone who attends the TFT Macao event will be able to try their hand at the game, but the game is not expected to launch globally until 2025. Pre-orders should go live in the first few months year .
