Crossplay is always a topic of much discussion in shooting games like Marvel Rivals. While it allows players to play on consoles and PCs, it tends to divide the community into keyboard and mouse users and controller users, each of which brings its own frustrations.
Including Marvel Rivals guide, we will explain how crossplay works and how to turn it off.
Is there crossplay? Marvel Rivals?
Yes, Marvel Rivals supports cross play between PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. However, PC and console players can only randomly match each other in Quick Match and other modes outside of the competitive playlist. To keep the game fair, there is no PC/Console crossplay in Ranked Play – this includes partying with friends.
How to disable crossplay in Marvel Rivals
Disabling crossplay in Marvel Rivals is quite plain – however, there are different rules for deactivating cross-platform play depending on the platform you are playing on.
As long as you’re playing in the Quick Match playlist, you’ll always have the option to match up with console players if you’re playing on PC. However, all competitive matches will still be played exclusively on PC for PC players.
