We are back! You’ve been excited to see what’s in store, and I’m thrilled to finally be able to answer: Naughty Dog’s next game is Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, currently in development for PlayStation 5. We’ve been working on this brand up-to-date adventure since 2020! This game becomes our wildest and most imaginative story yet. If you haven’t already, watch the announcement trailer:
Intergalactic stars our newest hero, Jordan A. Mun, a threatening bounty hunter who lands on Sempiria, a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe was severed hundreds of years ago. In fact, anyone who flew there in hopes of unraveling his mysterious past was never heard from again. Jordan will need to apply all of her skill and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave orbit.

Other than that, we’re keeping everything about this story under wraps – at least for now. We can say that this game is in the Naughty Dog tradition of creating a thrilling, epic, character-driven journey. Our narrative goals are matched only by our gameplay ambitions. This will be the deepest gameplay in Naughty Dog’s history, where we will learn from previous series and go beyond anything we’ve ever done.
Jordan is played by the talented Tati Gabrielle, who leads an all-star cast (pun intended!). Eagle-eyed gamers may spot some of the other cast members in the trailer. We will reveal more details about our team later.

Our amazing journey into space also needs an equally amazing soundtrack. As huge fans of their work, I’m content to announce our collaboration with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who will record the music for Intergalactic! The guys are cooking, and the trailer is just a compact preview of their work on the game.
We know you want more – and trust us, we really want to share even more with you. For now, though, it’s time to put our heads down and continue Jordan’s adventure.
