Infinity Nikki, the open-world dress-up RPG from former The Legend of Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga, has already surpassed 10 million downloads, and developer Infold Games is celebrating with in-game rewards.
Some X/Twitter post revealed that the impressive milestone was reached just four days after Infinity Nikki launched on December 5, and players can now access 10 free draws as a thank you for their support.
“Infinity Nikki has achieved over 10 million downloads worldwide,” Infold Games said. “On this whimsical journey, take each step confidently and appreciate the brilliance of each moment. Let us set off towards a bright and shining future.”
Players can access the rewards by opening their mailbox before January 1, where they will find a special bonus of 10 Resonite crystals that can be used to unlock any number of draws. Players gain access to the mailbox after joining the Floraish Stylist’s Guild and receiving the Pear.
Infinity Nikki is described as “a grand adventure in a series of dazzling dress-up adventure games” where “for the first time ever, Miraland is now an open world to explore. Nikki and Momo embark on another wonderful journey, exploring the world, discovering amazing landscapes and collecting outfits.”
The launch has been very successful so far, with no technical difficulties or other issues occurring apart from a brief website hack that prevented players from downloading the game. This obviously translated well to Infold Games with 10 million downloads.
In our 9/10 review, IGN said: “Infinity Nikki offers deep open-world exploration, a quirky story, and some of the most beautiful in-game outfits you’ll ever see – you just have to be willing to navigate a maze of menus to get them.”
