Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is one of the best in the series, thanks to the recent omni-motion system and fantastic maps. Including Black Ops 6 in our beginner’s guide, we’ll give you the best multiplayer tips to keep your K/D higher than your competition.
Get the right gear, soldier!
Before you enter the battlefield Call of Duty Black Ops 6you should be wearing the appropriate headset. This will significantly improve your performance because you will hear enemy footsteps behind you and you will be more ready to attack at any moment. You can also listen out for enemy equipment, such as scramblers, which make an irritating noise in the distance. This is a great way to spot them. For example, if you don’t have a headset or are listening to deafening rap music in the background, you won’t be able to enter these tips.
The acoustic amplifier is also a solid upgrade in tactical game modes, as it makes the footsteps of enemies around you louder for a period of time.
Mark your enemies
In team modes like Search & Destroy, communication with your team is necessary to success. A great way to do this is to tag an enemy if you spot one. While playing on a controller, press the D-Pad Up button twice to bring up the red marker in the UI. Additionally, you can mark enemy equipment by pressing the same button once. This will give you a tactical advantage.
Take out your knife
If you want to run faster or utilize a brisk weapon to eliminate enemies, you can pull out your knife. Simply hold down the melee button (usually hold the right analog stick) for the soldier to pull it out.
Use appropriate attachments
The weapon you choose may not have the appropriate attachments. Be sure to read the weapon’s description and learn about its weaknesses. For example, the Model L has a sluggish rate of fire. To counteract this, you can equip the Reinforced Barrel to raise its firepower. The 5.56 NATO Over Pressureed Fire Mod also helps with this problem. Focus on the positives and negatives of the weapon and try to create the best weapon you can imagine using the attachments available. You can also read our equipment guides.
Take advantage of bonuses and the specialty system
Bonus and specialization system in Black operations can be a game changer. If you want to choose the stealth version, the benefits of Recon are best. Ghost allows you to remain undetected by enemy Recon Pulse and UAVs while moving, planting, disarming, or controlling scorestreaks. Ninja also allows you to move more quietly around the map. The tracker also allows you to see enemy steps.
If you have all three feats of the same suit, you will gain specialization. The Recon special allows you to see enemies through walls after spawning, and the HUD edge indicator flashes when an enemy is outside your field of view. Additionally, the Recon specialty prevents death skulls from appearing when you kill enemies.

Change the FOV slider
The default field of view (FOV) can be circumscribed to those who want a wider angle of the action. Many people stay in the default field of view and remain unaware. In the settings, you can change the field of view to gain a wider view of the battlefield and allow you to quickly spot enemies. Go to the Graphics section in the options menu, then go to the View tab. I have it set to 116, but that’s entirely up to you. You can also reduce the weapon’s appearance by selecting Wide in the Weapon Field of View option. Tinker with these settings until you get a massive advantage in the action.
Redeem your XP tokens and play during Double XP events
During Double XP events, your progress will double. The schedule of these events is often shared on social media and officially Call of Duty accounts, e.g X.
You’ll also get double XP tokens from the Battle Pass, and sometimes it’s uncomplicated to forget they’re there. While in the main menu (or even in the game menu), press the left analog stick to select different Double XP tokens for your tier, weapon, and battle pass. During the Double XP event, unfortunately you cannot quadruple your XP rate.
Best trap placement and defense tips
When placing traps such as shock charges, for example, it is worth making sure they are in the correct position. You don’t want them out in the open. Instead, try to find a cheeky place, such as the top of the stairs or behind a closed door. In this case, explosive traps are your friends. Therefore, it is best to close the door behind you so that you can hear when an enemy appears behind you or near the room.

Use weapon blueprints as you level up
To shut it down Black Ops 6 Beginner’s guide, you should utilize weapon blueprints when upgrading weapons in the game. Instead of having weapons without attachments at the beginning of the process, you will have increased stats. For example, the Boomslang weapon design for the Marine SP significantly improves accuracy and handling. Once you have the extras unlocked, you can create your own perfect set.
