GSC Game Worlds has released update 1.0.1 for STALKER 2, and the studio has been demanding at work to patch out a wide range of bugs, quirks, progress locks, and glitches that players have encountered in the long-awaited sequel.
This is the first post-launch patch to fix over 650 different bugs and issues on both Xbox Series X|S and PC, although the studio admits there is still a lot of work to do. In particular, they highlight A-Life bug fixes that affect how the environment interacts with creatures and various factions in the game.
Still, it’s a great first step for the studio, and it’s fair to say that the issues we encountered during review weren’t game-breaking in nature, but rather fun quirks. See our review of STALKER 2 here.
