I’ve owned this power bank for over a year for my Aus ROG Ally portable gaming PC and my kids’ switches; has been on many flights and car trips and is still going sturdy.

The Anker 737 is a powerful power bank measuring 4.6 inches x 2.2 inches x 2 inches and weighing 1.4 pounds. It’s something you can fit into your duffel bag or backpack instead of your pocket. It has two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port and one USB Type-A port. The USB Type-C ports support a maximum of 140W of power, which means a single port can deliver 140W of power or both ports will deliver a total of 140W depending on what devices are connected (e.g. 70W + 70W or 100W + 40W).

The Asus ROG Ally X was released just last summer and won the title of best Windows portable gaming device. It improves on the original ROG Ally in several respects, with the biggest improvements being a much larger 80Wh battery with almost sufficient runtime, more RAM, a more efficient cooling system, twice the capacity of the base model, and better controls. It’s not cheap, starting at $799.99, but it’s certainly an amazing piece of hardware.
Buy now or wait for Black Friday?
Black Friday is just about a week away, and in most cases, it’s better to wait to buy tech accessories. However, it is very unlikely that these two particular offers will improve. Both the Anker 737 and Anker Prime are already at their lowest prices ever, so we don’t expect any further reductions this year. However, if you’re looking for a thinner power bank with lower capacity for travel, you should definitely wait for more Black Friday deals.
