The first trailer for Seth Rogen’s Apple TV+ series “The Studio” is now available, and it features a number of celebrities telling him how terrible he is.
OK, they’re not telling Rogen he’s terrible, but there really are some massive names on this case. The Studio is an upcoming 10-episode series from Rogen and his habitual collaborator Evan Goldberg, in which the actor plays the fictional Matt Remick, the novel head of the also-fake production company Continental Studios. “As the films strive to remain vital and relevant, Matt and his core team of conflicted executives battle their own insecurities, bickering with narcissistic artists and cowardly corporate overlords in the elusive pursuit of making great movies,” explains the official logline.
“With their suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and awards show gives them the chance for a brilliant success or a career-ending disaster. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, this is a job Matt has pursued his entire life and one that could destroy him.”

This movie has quite the cast, with actors like Catherine O’Hara (“Beetlejuice”), Kathryn Hahn (“Agatha All Along”) joining it as part of the main cast, as well as Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”) in a guest role, and Hollywood icons like Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese and Charlize Theron playing themselves – all of whom clearly don’t like Rogen’s character (“You’re talentless. Spineless,” he says somewhat Scorsese moment, showing the aging director still has some acting skills).
It all looks pretty fun in the first trailer, and you don’t have to wait long as it’s currently scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ on March 26 next year.
