However, for those looking for a little more action and violence, the news of Squid Game: Unleashed, which will debut on Netflix on December 17, will be welcome news!
Pitching you against friends and strangers alike, Squid Game: Unleashed throws you into the iconic, spine-chilling deathmatch, though this time with a slightly more fun façade. Whether this is a good or bad thing depends on your perspective on the series, but it certainly looks like it’s capitalizing on the popularity of Hwang Don-hyuk’s hit series.

There’s definitely something to be said about the irony of a show about dehumanizing people and exploiting their deaths for entertainment being turned into a multiplayer battle. But at the same time, from a purely distanced perspective, it makes sense, and it looks like Netflix has finally recognized the fact that attracting a dedicated audience to a multiplayer game can keep fans coming back to their service, even if they drop some of their streaming fees .
