Right now, Best buy, AmazonAND SAMSUNG are offering the 65-inch Samsung S90C 4K OLED Smart TV for just $999.99 after an absolutely massive $1,600 price cut. It’s the perfect TV to pair with your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. Some critics rate the S90C as a better gaming TV than the LG C4. RINGS writes that “the LG (C4) is noticeably darker in game mode, while the Samsung (S90C) is not, making the Samsung a better choice for gamers.”

Samsung S90C 4K 65-inch OLED Smart TV for $999.99
Samsung S90C is a 2023 model (replaced by S90D for 2024) and last year it was recognized as one of the best OLED TVs on the market, even surpassing the LG C3. The S90C uses Samsung’s patented Quantum Dot (QD) OLED panel. QD OLED panels are brighter than traditional OLED panels without sacrificing the color accuracy, range and wide viewing angles that OLEDs are known for. Compared to a traditional LCD LED TV, an OLED TV offers excellent picture quality, almost infinite blacks, almost infinite contrast ratio and almost instantaneous response time.
OLED technology aside, the Samsung S90C also has all the features you’d expect from a gaming TV. It has a native 120Hz panel that can be boosted to 144Hz (rare on 2023 TVs), as well as four total four HDMI 2.1 ports for 4K playback at 120Hz on PS5 or Xbox Series X. The S90C also supports variable refresh rate and automatic low latency mode. This is a particularly good complement to the recently introduced Playstation 5 Pro console.

The Samsung S90C is one of the best TVs you can buy, but LG has a TV that’s even better – for the price. Best Buy does LG Evo G4 65-inch 4K OLED TV on sale for $2,299.99 shipped. This is the best LG TV on the market. The G4 boasts modern MLA (Micro Lens Array) technology, which is able to generate a much brighter image than the C4. The G4 also includes more heatsinks to dissipate higher temperatures, thus maintaining brightness even during intense uses such as playing games in Game Optimizer mode, where the C4 struggles.
