Net fishing finally has a “Straight” title, but it will cost you

Breakthrough indie hit Fishing in the net – a game that also simulates Animal crossing and AOL chatroom from 2006 – received major fix on November 6, which aimed to polished out performance, add content, and address a burning community issue: the lack of a “Straight” player title.

Of course, I say it jokingly. Although it’s obvious Some people complained about the lack of a “Straight” player title, in my experience the game’s community is positive and inclusive. The title itself is, of course, a joke and costs approx as much as $9,999 (a princely sum even for the most experienced fisherman).

Also, if you think I put the title in parentheses as part of some kind of editorial text, you’re wrong. The title is in parentheses in the game, which is the funniest bit possible, except that it costs the mortgage on a houseboat.

The patch also introduces a host of additions and improvements, including fresh bobbers, clothes, fishing rods and music. Personally, I’m most excited about the fresh float, which sometimes creates a rain cloud over players while they’re fishing. A fresh way to fish in the rain, without paying attention to the weather, will be extremely useful when completing tasks and filling out your fishing journal.

The game’s biggest patch to date, which also partially addresses performance and bug issues. Failing to anticipate his own success, the developer lamented his dissatisfaction with the game’s launch state, stating: “I hope this patch fixes most of the major issues with the game (and I can finally sleep a little bit :).”

Of course, no one can predict the whims of the independent audience, especially the people creating games. Net fishing is my full recommendation for anyone who enjoys it Animal Crossing progression, fishing games, or chat rooms full of nice people trying to play a virtual acoustic guitar but failing.
