A up-to-date report claims that Amazon is officially working on a TV show based on Bioware’s popular sci-fi series, Mass effect. This is consistent with previous reports indicating that Amazon wanted to create Mass effect show. It looks like the retail giant has finally done it.

In a up-to-date report from Diversity– reports the outlet, information that has not yet been announced Mass effect Daniel Casey will write and executive produce the series. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios. No plot or casting details have been confirmed by Diversity. Casey had previously worked on a script for the film F9: Fast saga. He also worked on a science fiction film Relative, and transcribed further 10 Cloverfield Lane.

In 2021 this has been reported before that Amazon wanted to create a TV show based on the sci-fi RPG series after previous, unrelated plans to create it Mass effect the movie fell apart.

The news will come on November 7, which is known as N7 Day in the US Mass effect fandom, a day that often brings up-to-date announcements about the series. Bioware warned people about this this year’s N7 Day will be a bit quieter compared to previous years due to recent release Dragon Age: Veil Guard. Bioware is currently working on the next major entry in Mass effect franchise, although we don’t know much about what this game will be at the moment.

After the huge success of Amazon with Fall TV show earlier this year, which has already been confirmed for a second seasonit makes sense that the streamer would accelerate another video game adaptation based on a different but also popular RPG series. We’ve seen other parts of Hollywood also try to create hits based on video games, such as Netflix movies Tomb Raider animated series and award-winning HBO series The last of us number. Will be Mass effect establish contact with the audience, e.g Fall? We’ll have to wait to find out.
