Diablo 4 players take the “action” from an action RPG and create the ultimate version of AFK that plays itself

In action RPG games, the most valuable currency is time. It’s also the number one thing that pisses players off, leading them to argue about how long it takes to complete a dungeon, find powerful items, and, uh, transfer their character between NPC shopkeepers. Sometimes I wonder if action RPG players want to play a game or a spreadsheet game, and today is another such day because Chinese gamers have created a ghost version that plays the game itself, so I guess you can do something else.

I’ll admit that the build is certainly groundbreaking, but I can’t imagine getting excited about turning Diablo 4 into a screensaver. This build effectively transforms your spirit into a cloud of poison that drowns monsters that dare to spawn in the same room as you. This happens to be one of the fastest builds in the game, capable of beating one of the hardest dungeons in about a minute.

Like every current version of Spiritborn in Diablo 4, it relies on several bugs that skyrocket the class’s damage into the trillions. The most powerful comes from the Paragon node, which is designed to escalate your damage up to a certain amount depending on how much barrier you have, Diablo’s short-lived bonus health. Despite what the tooltip says, damage increases as health and barrier escalate. It is so incredibly powerful and effortless to activate that it can be combined with almost any skill.

This variant of the uber version uses Toxic Skin, a passive ability that infects enemies with poison, the Wound Drinker ring that increases the power of Toxic Skin, and good ancient thorn damage. Playing it is quite basic: either you stand in the middle of enemies and watch them fall apart, or you get by using the mouse AND keyboard to run to the end of the dungeon, leaving a trail of bodies.

Diablo 4 YouTuber Mattjestic Life he explains everything in his video, including the hardware you need to make it all work. It recommends using two extremely uncommon mythic unique items, but I think it could actually be done with normal legendary items, although it will be more cumbersome. I did non-mythical version of this if you are interested.

Note that this build fails quite a bit if you try to get Pit levels higher than 100. It’s possible to go even higher if you hit a certain threshold for some specific stats – which Mattjestic Life notes in their video. But to do this, you need incredible luck or weeks of free time to grind all the materials to perfect your equipment.

Blizzard is preparing to release a mid-season patch soon, which it will release on its stream next week. However, I don’t expect him to fix these glaring mistakes that are driving the entire class until next season. Now you have the chance to take the action from an action RPG and automatically breed as many monsters as possible.
