Fortunately, you can play in both zombie mode and multiplayer with a split-screen feature. However, there is a catch. PS4, Xbox One and PC Call of Duty Black Ops 6 players cannot exploit split screen and can only play with one player at a time. Only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S owners can play a round of Team Deathmatch with a partner on a split-screen couch. Just connect a second controller and ask it to press A or the cross button in the lobby.
The positive is that the split screen covers the entire screen with no cropped parts. It’s fully 16:9. However, it doesn’t seem like you can play against each other competitively. I tried to start a local multiplayer match in “Private Match” mode, but the second controller failed to connect.
