Grab your tinfoil hat, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has a hidden Easter egg that makes players fall into a conspiracy trap

Dust off your fiction tomes and craziest phrases. Dragon Age: The Veilguard players have discovered a plaque on the wall that looks like a hidden Easter egg, trying to convey something about the broader narrative of the series or just having fun doing it. this idea. Naturally, people are desperate to decipher it.

Yes, forget about modders trying to combat the abundance of purple in the game. It seems that the real battle you should be fighting these days if you’re a Dragon Age player is with your own brain as you try to figure out what some pieces of paper taped to a corkboard might be telling you. Well, apart from the fact that BioWare’s environment designers are clearly very good at their job.

According to one of the players on Dragon Age subedition written about it, this fascinating thing can be found in Minrathous if you look carefully and you will find a door through which you can clear the boxes and wooden boards.

Inside, on the wall, you’ll find a display that looks like the one shown in the post below – a bunch of pieces of paper with various things on them, many of which would surely appeal to any seasoned Dragon Age veteran, all taped to a board. He’s the typical detective or “person who definitely doesn’t let the shady YouTube videos they’ve been watching about the Illuminati get to them.”

Naturally, people who have discovered this are desperate to find out what it means, and at least one of them has gone through the full version of MS Paint trying to figure out what each image and connection means. The consensus is that this is about the narrative of the DA series as a whole, with various people claiming that different parts may represent different key characters and places where they appeared in the series.

That said, this photo on the right side of the mural seems to be the most fascinating aspect of the whole thing. Several players have theorized that the silhouette of the mysterious person could either hint at future installments in the series, be connected in some way to Veilguard’s narrative, or could simply be a meta nod to the player who is the main character. the unifying factor in all these DA adventures.

I’ll be candid, I’m not enough of a Dragon Age nerd to comment on which – if any – of these theories seems most likely to be correct, although gaming history suggests it probably won’t be any of them, and someone will figure it out eventually in a three-hour video on YouTube in a few years.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that it was recently revealed that former series star David Gaider, the original creator of Thedas, Eurogamer that he had an “overall story arc” in mind for the Dragon Age series early on, which was eventually written down in a secret document.

Is this mysterious conspiracy board just a cheeky reference to it by BioWare, or is it an effort by fans to figure out how Veilguard could fit into it? It seems possible.
