Red Dead Redemption cheats and cheat codes can make your Wild West adventure smoother (or more messy) – depending on what kind of cowboy you are.
The following list could fill your wallet and arsenal, provide you with a quick escape, and even make you the most wanted bandit in the West.

How to enter Red Dead Redemption cheats
Before entering the cheats Red Dead RedemptionPlease note that the operate of cheats disables achievements and trophies. So if you want to go trophy hunting later, you’ll need to start a fresh game.
To enter codes Red Dead Redemptionenter your save file (or start a fresh game), then press pause to enter the options menu. Then go to the Cheats tab and press the appropriate button to enter Cheat.
- On your computer: On PC, press F to enter the codes. If you’re using a controller on your computer, operate the appropriate controller button below.
- For PlayStation: On PS3 and PS4, press the Triangle button to enter cheats.
- On Xbox: On Xbox consoles, press the Y button to enter cheats.
- On the switch: On Nintendo Switch, press the X button to enter cheats.
Once the cheat interface opens, enter the appropriate code from our list below. Successfully entered codes will be displayed in the list in the Codes tab. To activate the code, enable it. To deactivate a cheat, turn it off. This means you only have to enter the code once and you can simply enable the code whenever you want to operate it.
If you have problems, know that if you successfully enter the code, a pop-up will appear saying: “Congratulations! You have successfully unlocked the new code.” If the code was entered incorrectly, the message “Sorry! You entered an incorrect code.” In some cases, we received a message that read: “Sorry! You have already checked this code” even though I had not entered the code before. If you receive this message, please check your code list as the scam is likely still successful.

Also pay attention to correct punctuation. Codes must be entered with correct punctuation, although they are not case sensitive.
Finally, remember that you cannot enter certain cheats, such as spawning a horse or stagecoach, while you are participating in an activity.

While most Red Dead Redemption codes are entered manually, there are also some cheats that become available automatically after launch Red Dead Redemption. Originally, these codes could be unlocked by linking your console account to Rockstar Social Club, but once that happened Red Dead Redemption servers were disabled and became available to all players. Is there a code for money in Red Dead Redemption 1?
Yes, there is a code for money Red Dead Redemption. The code for more money is “Root of all evil, thank you!” but only provides $500 one time.
So if you want to collect cash, you need to enable this code several times. Unfortunately, there is no infinite money scam Red Dead Redemption.
