Pam Beasley actress Jenna Fischer and Angela Martin actress Angela Kinsey revealed the names of Michael and Holly’s children, who never made it to The Office themselves.
The couple revealed themselves Ladies from the office a podcast that is basically insider commentary on each episode, which reveals that the kids originally had a scene in the series finale before it was cut. The two sons named by Michael are named Chebonshur and Lowshebin.
Amy Ryan’s Holly said in the talking heads segment that Michael’s Steve Carell named the babies “based on his feelings when he first saw them.” Therefore, Holly was supposed to appear in the last episode with Michael, but Ryan’s schedule did not allow it and the scene was cut.
The Office ended its nine-season run in 2013 and has become one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, though the universe will soon expand again with a spin-off based on a local Midwestern newspaper. However, it apparently won’t feature any members of the original cast, and certainly not Carrell.
“I will watch, but I won’t show up,” he said in May. “It’s just a new thing and there’s really no reason for my character to be in something like that. But I’m excited about it. That sounds like a great idea.”
Carell also said that actor Domhnall Gleeson, who will reportedly appear in the spin-off “Star Wars: Episode 9 – The Rise of Skywalker. Rebirth”, was a great addition to the cast.
Darryl Philbin actor Craig Robinson, however, has expressed interest in returning for a reboot or sequel, and Fischer said she would be on board if The Office co-creator Greg Daniels was involved.
Daniels is working as a co-creator of the spin-off with Michael Koman. However, Office UK star Ricky Gervais did appear in the US series as David Brent in a brief cameo, so perhaps anything is possible.
