It looks like Niantic will start changing Pokémon in and out of Max Battles from month to month, with some Pokémon from the event being cluttered. There are also Max Mondays, a weekly raid hour-like event in which one Pokémon will appear more frequently at power points from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
That said, you’ll need a fair amount of Dynamax Pokémon on your team if you decide to reveal this feature, as only Dynamax Pokémon can participate in Max Raids. (So you’re basically catching Pokémon to aid you catch more Pokémon.) It’s worth noting that if you’re just starting out with Max Battles, you should have “On Max!” A special research kit that will start you off with Dynamax Wooloo.
