What is the best sniper rifle in Black Ops 6? Sniper rifles are always a popular choice for players who like to aim evenly across the map, hit a target within their range, and get a solid headshot. However, in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6, sniping is quite tough, as all three sniper rifles offer noticeable vertical recoil, a lot of flinch, and off-center aiming, which will spoil the plans of anyone who loves a rapid scope.
Despite these obstacles, however, all three sniper rifles featured are powerful damage dealers that are more than capable of instantly knocking down an operator from a rival team as long as you’re a skilled marksman. Which one takes gold, which one takes silver, and which one has to settle for bronze? Read on as we’ve compiled a list of tiers and explained our reasoning in this guide the best sniper rifle in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6.

What is the best sniper rifle in Black Ops 6?
The best sniper rifle in Black Ops 6 is currently the SVDalthough it is a fierce duel. While all three sniper rifles in Black Ops 6 have great one-shot kill potential, the SVD has the advantage with a higher fire rate that will simply please more players. Because it is a semi-automatic weapon, the SVD is also a bit more forgiving and easier to get used to than the bolt-action LR 7.62 and LW3AI Frostline, especially for players who are novel to sniping.
Here’s our tier list for all three sniper rifles in Black Ops 6:
- SVD
- LR 7.62
- LW3A1 Frostline
Below, we’ve listed the main details of each sniper rifle from best to worst, along with additional explanations of why we ranked them that way.
1. SWD
The SVD is ahead of the curve, winning awards not only for the great rate of fire we mentioned above, but also for its rapid handling and buttery-smooth aiming. Since you won’t have to fiddle with the bolt with this gun, you’ll have more freedom to headshot and enjoy the significant magazine size of 10 compared to the LR 7.62 and 5 LW3AI Frostline Until the SVD is nerfed, this is our favorite a weapon for making precise long-range shots with minimal effort.
2. LR 7.62

The LR 7.62 deals staggering damage and may be your weapon of choice if you have experience with bolt-action rifles. On vast maps, this weapon has no disadvantages. However, on smaller maps it’s difficult to justify using LR 7.62 instead of SVD, as sluggish tracking quickly becomes noticeable. Changes in the Black Ops 6 seasons may see the LR 7.62 outclass the SVD, but for now this gun is in second place.
3. Frost Line LW3AI

The LW3AI Frostline does good damage and is solid for quick aiming. However, it doesn’t seem as effective as the other two options on this list, especially due to the very noticeable recoil, which is no joke considering how much vertical recoil there is in Black Ops 6. That said, you can place the Solder over this weapon to make it more profitable and I personally think it is the coolest looking weapon of the three sniper rifles. So even though it doesn’t quite outperform the competition in the rankings, it’s still a good choice, especially if you want to shoot with style.
This gives you your choice of sniper rifle – now get out and start aiming at the targets.
