Remedy Entertainment celebrates its first anniversary Alan Wake 2 with a modern update that includes many accessibility features. The “Anniversary Update” arrives on October 22 on PC and consoles, offering a modern menu that includes a number of gameplay toggles that can make the game easier for both a modern player and someone looking to speed up their second playthrough. Not to mention, the game is quite scary at times, so some of these options can make the game less stressful.

Additionally, on PS5, the game will support gyroscopic targeting using the DualSense controller, and the controller’s touch controls will now indicate the operate of healing and throwable items, whereas previously they only worked with shooting weapons. On all platforms, Remedy has also added the ability to invert the X-axis (horizontal) of the mouse and controller (Y-axis inversion is now available).

Apart from the game’s anniversary, the update arrives just before the game’s debut Alan Wake 2the last piece of the DLC story, House by the Lake. It’s also time for an upcoming PS5 Pro update that will make the game look better (and probably run better, too). If you’re looking for a bargain on the title, you’ll only find it on the Epic Games Store for Windows PC, where it’s 50% off until Halloween.
