Dragon Ball Sparking Zero allows players to emulate some of the series’ greatest battles by choosing from a massive roster of 182 characters, believe it or not, it only includes 20 Gokus and 14 Vegetas.
However, given the immense number of familiar faces, it was expected that a few characters would stand out, even if one of them surprised even the biggest fans. Here are the 10 best characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zeroranking.
10. Goku (GT)
One of the most notable characters in his DP range, Goku (GT)’s greatest strength is his automatic dodges courtesy of Afterimage Strike. But don’t think that’s all he brings to the battlefield, as this ability only furthers his versatile kit, which features quite brisk normals, great combo finishing in Dragon First, and the ability to transform into both Super Saiyan 3 and 4 to get a massive dose of extra damage.
9. Beer

Justifying his hefty 10DP cost in team battles, Beerus boasts all the health, speed, and damage you’d expect from a character in his position, the latter of which is seen in his Final Blast Super Destruction Sphere. Moreover, his ability to regain about one and a half bars of health by performing a rather high-priced Speep and immediately enter Sparking by performing Verdict of Destruction makes the ruler a versatile character.
8. Broly (Z) Legendary Super Saiyan

This is what I consider closest Sparking Zero must be a grappler, the Super Saiyan Legendary version of Broly (Z) is unstoppable at close range, as his unblockable Giant Hammer Charge ability and high damage per hit are more than enough to keep opponents on their toes. If Broly is given enough time, he can also perform Kakarottt! to instantly empower himself and enter Spark Mode, thus gaining instant access to his also unprotectable Ultimate Blast.
7. Vegito (Super) Super Saiyan God of the Super Saiyans

The first of many fusions featured here, Vegito (Super) Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan – or simply Vegito Blue – is one of the most disruptive characters in Sparking Zerogiven his unpredictable combos and ability to regain all of his ki by performing a Full Power Charge. The latter also allows him to get an simple path to Spark and allows him to spam his God Kamehameha and Omega Finishing Strike for devastating combos. As with most morphed fusions, Vegito also has access to six Skill meters and boasts four health bars if selected right away.
6. Gogeta (Super) Super Saiyan Super Saiyan God

What happens when you combine the ability to perform highly unpredictable quick combos, one of the most hard explosions to avoid in the game (Stardust screams as it explodes), instant transmission, and the high damage you can expect from fusion? Well, you get Gogeta (Super) Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan.
But if that wasn’t enough, and to the delight of everyone who loves the character as much as I do, Gogeta probably has the best mid-range explosive game of all time Sparking Zerowhile its charged one sends out multiple high-velocity projectiles that can deal damage comparable to many characters’ uncharged beams.
5. Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct

In addition to the health boost the version gains compared to the Sign, Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct boasts one of the highest damage output in Dragon Ball Sparking Zeroa feat that allows him to annihilate opponents by combining his brisk attacks with the ability to quickly draw Ultra Kamehameha and Ultra Barrage Rush. As you might guess, he can also instantly buff his stats and enter Sparking Mode by performing No Backing Down, thus ensuring that you can go all out without interruption.
The Ultra Instinct versions of Goku are also the only characters in the game game capable of dodging regular Rush attacks without performing Sonic Sways or disappearing, which can be a great tool in the right hands.
4. Yajirobe

Yajirobe, a low DP God, earns his place thanks to his unique ability to fully heal with “Sanzu Bean”, making him both a phenomenal resource and the most frustrating character to face in the game. To put it mildly, against a swordsman, getting hit with a regular Strike may mean having to climb Korin Tower again.
But don’t think you can just pick him and succeed, because even though he is “unkillable” to many, Yajirobe is by no means an simple pick and will require a lot of dominance over the game’s defensive mechanics to compensate for his low health and damage .
3. Jiren (full power)

As you’d expect from the strongest fighter in the Tournament of Power, Jiren (Full Power) combines some of the fastest quick combos in the game with a highly versatile and effective Skill selection. Examples of this can be seen in his ability to counter Z Bursts and Dragon Dashes by performing either an Overwhelming Blast or a Ki Storm escape move. His ability to gain a huge number of buffs and immediately enter the Spark by performing Strength is Absolute also means that, according to his philosophy, there is no right answer on how to give your all on the field against Jiren.
2. Super Vegito

The game’s current boogeyman, Super Vegito, combines the combo potential of his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form with the Afterimage Strike ability, which allows him to exert unparalleled pressure while maintaining control and dealing massive damage at both close and long range. On the other hand, while the above allows him to easily counter virtually every matchup in the game, his inability to trigger Sparking immediately prevents him from taking first place.
1. Pull (GT)

A character that brings all the greatest strengths of the blue versions of Vegito and Gogeta to the table, Gogeta (GT) – or Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta – combines the fastest movement of these characters with two devastating combo ends in his Ultimate Impact Rush Skill and the near-instantaneous Big Bang Kamehameha.
But what if you manage to time his mistakes and escape one of his combos? Well, that’s only half the battle, as Gogeta can also auto-dodge with Wild Sense and take his already massive damage output to a up-to-date level by activating Power Boost to the very limit, which will automatically trigger Spark and make sure he has more than enough for another attempt or even a TOD combination.
