The naval combat trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii shows ship-to-ship combat on the open sea and in a huge coliseum, boarding the ship with combat, and the ship customization menu. It also gives us a look at the pirate haven of Madlantis, ruled by Queen Michele. She and her top team run the Pirate Coliseum, which hosts the Captain’s Tournament, as well as other events including Quick Skirmish, Madlantis Mania, and Swashbuckler Showdown. The story itself shows that Goro Majima is stranded on a remote island with no memories, not even his name. He embarks on a modern adventure with teenage islander Noah to regain his memories and gain an advantage in this upside-down world.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio also confirmed a modern release date for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and the game is currently scheduled for release on February 21, 2025, which means the release date has been pushed back by a week from the original date. It will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
