Uh oh, the latest massive twist in Helldivers 2’s Galactic War is a massive attack by the Automatons, led by fancy “enhanced” bots called the “Jet Brigade.”

Helldivers 2 has just received a recent Major Order, and I’m depressed to say that you’re not resting after winning the previous game. Why? Well, a huge horde of bots is headed to Matar Bay, led by a special evil brigade.

If you’re not up to date, several recent orders have involved taking steps to assemble a recent space station that players can utilize in their Galactic War efforts once it’s completed, and its construction in Gallivare orbit is currently underway. So far, all the wins have been wins, but it looks like this one could be especially arduous.

“Helldivers established and maintained a protective perimeter around Acamara IV, enabling the successful construction of the first-ever Terminid Research Reserve,” this recent order begins. “Our intrepid xenoentomologists conducted an inaugural specimen collection expedition and are already reporting great results, a step forward in our understanding of E-710 mining and exploitation.

“But although the Eastern Front had calmed down, the socialist toasters on the Western Front had unleashed recent fighting power. Automaton warships appeared en masse in the atmosphere of Matar Bay. Many SEAF bases have already collapsed.

“Reports indicate the presence of a reinforced Automaton unit leading the invasion. Throughout all communications, this group will be referred to as the Jet Brigade. “All Helldivers have been ordered to deploy immediately to the defense of Matar Bay.”

It looks like this is the only planet left to defend, and this order is only going to last for less than five days, so I’ll come equipped for a battle that will last a while and likely see multiple bot attacks at different points. Or maybe it will be a walk in the park and beating the New York Jets battalion. Who knows?

How do you think this major order will go? Let us know below and check out how the community finds the fixes and buffs introduced by Tuesday’s massive patch.
