Roblox players can purchase in-game Robux through the in-game store on their chosen platform; mobile devices, Xbox, PlayStation and PC. However, if you want to gift someone Robux, you need to buy them a gift card from the Roblox store or through Amazon. First, you’ll want to go to Roblox Store and decide who the gift card is intended for. If you decide to purchase from Amazon, you can skip this step.
If you choose a gift card for yourself, select For Me and then you will be able to choose a digital card or a physical card. If you are sending a gift card to a friend or loved one, select Friend and enter his or her name and your name (these can also be nicknames) in the appropriate sections.
For each card, you will be asked to select the currency that corresponds to the country of the person you are giving the card to. Please note that the gift card cannot be used for your friend/loved one if the currency you have chosen does not match the currency of their country. The currency options are as follows:
- USD – US dollar – Available for both digital and physical cards
- AUD – Australian dollar – Digital cards only

Digital card
The digital Robux card will be sent via email and will arrive immediately by default, although you can choose your own date and time if this gift is planned for a birthday or special occasion.
Once you have selected your digital card currency, you will be able to choose a gift card design with different occasions, characters and experiences to choose from.
You will then be asked to select the credit amount you would like to allocate to the card. There are various preset amounts to choose from ranging from 10 to 250 (depending on your selected currency), but you can also manually set the amount to any amount using the quantity counter located under the presets.
If you have selected a birthday or occasion in your design, you can now add an optional personalized message and then decide where the card goes. Enter the recipient’s email address and confirm it, and if you need a specific delivery date, you can also select it here.
You will then receive an order summary where you can confirm that the details are correct and you can then proceed to checkout where you will need to enter your payment details using the following options:
- PayPal
- Google Pay
- Credit/debit card
After setting your details, check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions, and then you can place and finalize your order!
Physical card
The physical Robux Gift Card will be mailed via customary mail and will incur a one-time shipping fee of $0.99 USD or CAD $1.49 per card. Only available in the US and Canada. You will then be able to choose how much balance will be available on the card, with the same pre-settings as the digital version, ranging from 10 to 200, with the option to enter your own custom amount (with the shipping fee automatically selected above).
You can then add an optional personalized message and will then be asked to enter your delivery destination. Enter the recipient’s name and address, and you can also choose whether to send the recipient an email letting them know the gift is on the way. Proceed to shipping then payment and then you will be set and your order will be placed!
How to redeem a Roblox gift card
Once you’ve received a Roblox gift card from a friend or one you’ve purchased for yourself, you’ll want to head over to Roblox.com/redeem. Then you or your friend/loved one will need to do the following:
- Log in to your existing Roblox account
- Find the PIN/code on your Gift Card and enter it in the white box on the website
- Click the Redeem button
- If the operation is successful, a success message will appear on the screen and the funds will be added to the linked account
