As you’d expect, Banjo-Tooie on Switch supports widescreen mode,

In 2009, after Rare was acquired by Microsoft, Banjo-Tooie was released on the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade with smoother frame rates and HD graphics. Banjo-Tooie was then re-released in 2015 as part of the Rare Replay compilation. In 2019, Banjo-Tooie was enhanced to run in native 4K resolution on Xbox One.

The last brand modern Banjo-Kazooie game to be released, Nuts & Bolts, was released for the Xbox 360 in 2008. Banjo-Tooie joins a growing list of Rare-developed games for Switch that includes the previously mentioned Banjo-Kazooie, groundbreaking shooter GoldenEye, Blast Corps, and Jet Force Gemini.
