Infinity Nikki is the latest installment in the Nikki series from Infold Games, and this time Nikki and her feline companion Momo will appear on consoles and PC, as well as on mobile devices. Infold’s most ambitious project in the history of an open-world dress-up game will also include: gacha system and microtransactions.

The Infinity Nikki gacha system works similarly to what we’ve seen before in HoYoVerse, but instead of spending your hard-earned Diamonds on fresh characters or weapons they can wield, you’ll instead be playing for fresh clothes and accessories. If this sounds confusing, that’s because it really is. Here is our guide how microtransactions and the Gacha system work in Infinity Nikki.
Infinity Nikki Microtransactions – Gacha System Explained
The gacha system in Infinity Nikki works similarly to those present in Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, although your gacha pull is called “Resonance” throughout Miraland. Another difference is that you’ll be pulling on clothing items rather than characters or weapons.
Resonance consists of two types of crystals; Resonite Crystals (blue crystals) used in the lasting banner and Revelation Crystals (pink crystals) used in the circumscribed banner. You can earn them by reaching certain in-game milestones or by spending pink Diamonds on them in the in-game store.
It costs 120 Diamonds for one Resonite or Revelation Crystal, so save and spend this currency wisely.
Infinity Nikki’s Basic Probability Ratios
In closed public beta for Infinity Nikki, the current limited-time Butterfly Dream event and lasting Distant Shores event have a base the probability of getting 5 stars is 1.5%.and base the probability of receiving items with a 4-star rating is 3.29%.. The overall probability of receiving items with a 3-star rating is 82.44%.
What’s more, many games like Infinity Nikki – like Wuthering Waves and Tower of Fantasy – have pity systems that ensure you don’t constantly waste strings on popular or duplicate items. Thanks to this, players can be sure that after a certain number of pulls they will receive a uncommon item from the set.
Nikki’s Pity Infinity System Explained
In Infinity Nikki, every 20 banner pulls guarantee one 5-star piece clothing while every 10 banner pulls guarantee one 4-star item clothing. You are also guaranteed to receive it fresh A 5-star item you don’t have for every 20 pulls, so you can finally complete the set of clothes you want.
This means that to complete a nine-piece banner outfit, you may need to apply as many as 180 strokes.
Once you complete the full banner outfit, you can continue searching for the same outfit items, and if you complete a second outfit, you can unlock a different outfit color scheme (this is unlocked in the Evolution tab of your Pear-Pal). However, to complete the banner outfit in a different color scheme, it may cost an additional 180 strokes.
It’s also worth noting that these numbers are for Nikki’s Reunion Playtest of Infinity and are subject to change between now and the game’s release in Q4 2024.
Nikki’s Surprise-O-Matic Infinity explained
While it’s not necessarily part of the core Infinity Nikki gacha system, you can spend your hard-earned Blings on Surprise-O-Matic in front of the Stylists’ Guild.
Here you can exchange 20,000 Blings for one pull (or 200,000 Blings for ten pulls) and get fresh clothes and accessories. To see exactly what you have a chance to unlock, select “Details” in the lower right corner, using Surprise-O-Matic to view the item list.

Like Resonance, Surprise-O-Matic also has some basic probability factors to keep in mind. The basic probability of receiving a 5-star garment is 0.8%, and the basic probability of receiving a 4-star garment is 1.6%. As a result, the basic probability of receiving three-star clothing is 97.6%.
So, while this is a fun way to spend some spare Bling on unlocking fresh wardrobe items, don’t get your hopes up for uncommon items. It can happen though!
Surprise-O-Matic also doesn’t have a Pity system, so make sure you want to spend your Bling before Momo interacts with the gachapon machine.
