Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will soon feature a brand novel enemy type: the terrifying Tyranid Hierophant Bio-Titan.
Publisher Focus Entertainment said this massive xenos is hitting the explosive third-person melee shooter with a novel PvE operation: Termination that takes players back to the planet Kadaku. This will be available for free and will be available “very, very soon.”
Also part of this free update is the novel Lethal difficulty level, which “aims to test your skills against the most brutal xenos and heretics.” The novel weapon is the Neo-Volkite pistol, also free for all players.

When it comes to cosmetics available as part of the Premium Season Pass, the Dark Angels chapter in Space Marines is first in line for the novel Theme Pack storylines. This adds novel weapon styles, armor pieces, and color schemes featuring the Unforgiven (the name given to the Dark Angels chapter after the catastrophic events of the Horus Heresy in the Warhammer 40,000 story). This themed pack includes a full set of armor for the Bulwark class.

This is all part of the second season of Space Marine 2, which will run from October to the end of 2024. Focus also announced the first year of updates coming to the game throughout Seasons 3 and 4. This includes novel PvE Operations, novel PvP Maps and Modes, novel Tyranid and Thousand Sons enemies, and a novel Horde mode “with one challenge: survive.” Also expect cosmetics for novel Space Marine chapters.
Notably, Season 3 also adds PvE Prestige ranks and the Battle Barge expansion (Battle Barge is the Ultramarines’ base of operations during the events of Space Marine 2). Season 4 adds the previously mentioned Horde mode, a novel enemy, and a novel weapon. More seasons will appear.
Recently released developer Saber Interactive Patch 3.0, which will change the rules of the Space Marine 2 gamewhat made a seemingly innocuous change to the ending that got Warhammer 40,000 fans excited. Fans also discovered this fascinating and unannounced Space Marine 2 cosmetics by analyzing game data.
Meanwhile, IGN interviewed Saber artistic director Tim Willits about the record-breaking success of Space Marine 2.
