“With the help of Geralt and Ciri’s closest companions – including the motherly magic of Yennefer of Vengerberg and the wisdom of Uncle Vesemir – these charming stories about a non-traditional family will make you laugh, sigh and realize that raising a child, a little witcher, is not much different from raising any other child.
“Sure, bedtime stories may include warnings about monsters that fart when startled, and Geralt may invoke the Witcher Code to get Ciri to brush her teeth or clean her room, but even the menacing White Wolf knows to give in.” when it comes to bedtime battles or afternoon tea with toys.”
The book is described as perfect for Witcher fans raising their own children, readers who believe in the power of chosen families, families who enjoy cute, magical comics, Witcher fans wanting to spend more time in Kaer Morhen, and gamers looking for a delicate variation of their favorite game.
The Witcher series has grown exponentially in recent years with the release of The Little Witcher and other products. The Witcher: Path of Destiny will join The Witcher: The Old World as the next board game when it launches in tardy 2024. Dark Horse releases a steady stream of more mature comics, and the series even has an official cookbook.
They join the upcoming novel by The Witcher creator Andrzej Sapkowski, the next two seasons of the Netflix live-action series (season 4 is currently in production), and the animated film Sirens of the Deep starring Doug Cockle, who voices Geralt in the sports music video.
CD Projekt Red is also busy, as it is working on several The Witcher projects, a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, and a brand novel game codenamed Hadar.
Polaris is the codename of the next main The Witcher game, although little is known yet except that a novel hero will star; CD Projekt Red The Molasses Flood studio is working on a multiplayer The Witcher game, which will be more mass-market; and Fool’s Theory remake of the original Witcher game in Unreal Engine 5.
