In the Zermon universe, there are 20 basic types and 1 special type. Each type has specific strengths and weaknesses compared to other types, for example, the Fire type is feeble to the Water type. Zerpmon types are largely divided into body type and attack type.
All Zermons have at least 1 body type, and some may have 2 body types.
The special types in the game are OmniIt’s called. Body Type determines how much damage a Zerpmon will take from enemy attacks, while Attack Type determines how much damage it can deal to opponents when attacking.
The type of moves has no effect on purple moves. Omni types have no strengths or weaknesses and have the same x1 multiplier for all types when attacking and defending. Most Zerpmon have a unique body type, but each Zerpmon has a different combination of attack types that may not match their body type.
The type multipliers in the game are: 0% | 25% | 50% | 100% | 200% | 400%
When a critical hit occurs, a x2 damage multiplier is added to this multiplier. A Zerpmon with an Omni Body type must exploit its attacks and abilities with an Omni attack type. There are only a few Omni Zermon in the game.
Examples of attack damage type multipliers include:
Example 1
Worm (Stone/Fire) Vs. Trispine (Water/Undead)
1. Worm: : Fireball Storm (Fire Type White Attack) – 120 damage
2. Trispine: : Tidal wave (Water-type White Attack) – 80 damage
Calculating the multiplier
• Worm attack: The multiplier for Fire-type attacks against Undead-type attacks is x0.
• Calculation: 120 x 0 = 0 Damage
• Trispine’s attack: Water-type attacks have a x2 multiplier for both Rock and Fire-types.
• Calculation: 80 x 4 = 320 damage (200% + 200% = 400%)
result: Trispine wins.
Example 2
Cyrus (Fire) vs. Pattern (Grass)
1. Cyrus: : Flame Charge (white fire-type attack) – 50 damage
2. Pattern: : Seed bomb (Grass 타입 White Attack) – 80 damage
Calculating the multiplier
• Kyro attack: The multiplier for Fire-type attacks against Grass-type attacks is x2.
• Calculation: 50 x 2 = 100 damage
• Saple’s attack: The multiplier for Grass-type attacks against Fire-type attacks is x0.5.
• Calculation: 80 x 0.5 = 40 Damage
result: Kyro wins.
