Sometimes there is nothing as painful and exhilarating as being beaten to death by a tough boss. From Monday’s Early Access launch, players Dragon Ball: Spark! Zero they flock to social media to share memes and commiserate over the challenging Great Ape Vegeta boss fight.
The Great Ape is a special form that the Saiyans of Universe 7 can transform into if given the right conditions. It basically already transforms an OP and experienced warrior like Vegeta into an all-powerful Kaiju gorilla. It certainly looks impressive on the show, but now the form is so powerful that it inspires memes and jokes about how challenging it is to beat in the game. The boss fight started trending on Tuesday night, with over 26,000 posts about it.
My friend who won the fight said that the Great Ape can kill players quite quickly because his beam attacks do so much damage and his grapple attack happens very quickly, interrupting any attempts to knock out his basic attacks.
It’s not impossible to defeat the Great Ape, but it does pose quite a challenge for the boss at the beginning of the game. Now people take moments from other TV series like Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisenand even Dragon Ball clips describing what it’s like to fight a monster. You can see the gags below.
Other people posted where they shared screenshots and just screamed to the world about how challenging this fight was.
