In retro news, I salute you with 27 barrels for your birthday Lylat Warsthe first N64 game to rock our world/gloves with the Rumble Pak. My introduction to this 3D rail shooter is seared deep into my brain. Our eyes met at the demo kiosk at the Sydney Domestic Terminal as Lionel Richie Hi played on the PA system. 20 minutes later my parents had to strangle me so I wouldn’t miss my flight. When I bought it later, there was so much to love, such as the delicious branching levels (with a real ending), the stellar Independence Day dogfights and aiming for the medal limit of 150 kills. LW also criminally disliked 4P multi.

The world of Super Mario
