The second expansion for Age of Wonders 4 was released today by Paradox Interactive, and Herald of Glory is the first DLC released as part of it. Herald of Glory adds up-to-date items and a social trait that adds a royal way to take over the Astral Sea. Three more DLC packs are planned as part of the Age of Wonders 4 expansion pass.
The second DLC included in this Age of Wonders 4 Expansion Pass is Ways of War. This content adds an oath culture where you can take three different oaths. The Oath of Righteousness is about focusing on fighting evil and destroying it, the Oath of Fighting is about waging war against the most powerful, and
The Oath of Harmony to lead a peaceful life. In addition, there are intriguing events that will focus on murders and betrayals. Ways of War introduced up-to-date forms called Simians and Ogrekins, as well as four Tomes focusing on discipline, shadow, misfortune, and prosperity. This DLC will be released on November 5.
Then the remaining two DLCs will be released in 2025, which will be Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy. Giants Kings will feature a up-to-date Giant ruler and up-to-date items will be added, including old trade and magic based on crystals from the fallen empire. Archon Prophecy will be the final pack in the Expansion Pass, which will include a up-to-date culture, up-to-date prophecies, and a up-to-date story. The Expansion Pass costs $49.99 / £41.99 / €49.99, but each DLC pack will also be available individually. Ways of War will cost $14.99/£12.79/€14.99, while the entire Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy will be individually priced at $19.99/£16.99/€19.99.
