This innovation aims to address common challenges in the industry Web3 implementation processthat included everything from the wallet configuration to get your first tokens. However, on October 9, this free transaction feature will be interruptedMeaning Unsponsored transactions will now incur a compact cost in RONamounting to approx 0.01 RON.

How will transactions work in Ronin?

Sponsored transactions will be conducted via a double signature process: first signature belongs to userwhile the other belongs to sponsor. From the user’s point of view, these transactions will they appear to be gas freesimplifying the onboarding process. Once sponsored deals go live, game studios are expected to follow suit apply this feature to cover the gas expenses of your recent userscontributing to smoother integration into the ecosystem.

The mechanism of sponsored transactions consists of several stages: the user initiates a transaction, Ronin Waypoint sends a verification request to the sponsoring service, the service verifies the user’s eligibility and, if approved, the charge is canceled in the UI. Ultimately, the transaction signed by both parties is transferred to the Ronin network.

With the launch of this feature Sky Mavis has decided to discontinue the Free Transactions featurebecause its original mission has been fulfilled. Other interested parties see the recent Ronin’s technology as more versatile sponsoring gas charges from users and is expected to require less maintenance in the future. To ease this transition, all recent Ronin users will receive Waypoint five sponsored transactions from Sky Mavis after creating an accountwhich they can apply for various purposes such as exchanging and sending tokens
