Hell Divers 2 fans are treated to daily news of buffs coming to the game in the 60-day update. However, no matter how positive these buffs may seem at first glance, most fans can’t let their guard down because they worry about hidden nerfs in the same update.
Waiting for the 60-day update to be released Hell Divers 2So named because it comes 60 days after the Escalation of Freedom update, which nerfed the game to a point players weren’t joyful with, developer Arrowhead Game Studios has been sharing one of the update’s improvements every day. However, fans on the game’s subreddit can’t aid but be skeptical of the update, considering all previous ones have included some sort of hidden nerf.
Cautiously welcoming the wonderful lovers
User John_Doe_MCMXC posted what I relate to the most when it comes to the upcoming 60-day update Hell Divers 2. It’s a bit of fun, but it also drives home the point that we shouldn’t celebrate this update until we’ve experimented with all the weapons once they’re available.
UmbreonQueen7 continues by saying what I think everyone should be reacting to the update right now. “That’s a good attitude. Until the devs keep their word and make changes, we’ll still be stuck where we started.”User Dry_Librarian_2087 posted a similar post that fans identify with.
In this post, fans also discuss how the game should be updated in the future. Ultimately, they want the weapon to be great again with this update. This has always been a problem fans have had with nerfs, as it makes the game seem artificially tough. Once the weapon is back in good shape, fans are welcoming higher difficulties with even more insurmountable odds than Super Helldive mode.
User Wvtarheel wrote in his comment: “I think people will complain because this round of changes might make everything a little too easy. But once the weapons feel great, they can add difficulty 11, 12, or even higher. And let the challenge come from the chosen difficulty, instead of the challenge from so many weapons that feel so weak. That’s the way forward in my opinion. But you’re right, some people will complain no matter what.”
Other fans, like TheGoonKills, are simply joyful that buffs are on the way. At their positionthey and other fans are celebrating the recent revelation that the Railgun will once again destroy virtually anything you point it at.
I agree with most players about the 60-day update. I know it’s needed, but I’ll wait until it’s available before I say whether it’s good or bad for your health Hell Divers 2I still log in and have a great time, but it definitely feels like there are fewer players on the servers.
I hope that once the weapons are back in their proper place, players will return to the game after the holidays. Warhammer 40K: Space Marines 2we can go back to defending Super Earth together. More challenging difficulties and even a fresh enemy faction are always welcome additions, but there’s no point in creating fresh content if players are unhappy.
