How to pre-order PS5 Pro?
PS5 Pro pre-orders will be available starting September 26, 2024 exclusively at PS Direct and at participating retailers in countries where PS Direct is not available. In countries that have PS DirectPre-orders will open on October 10, 2024 at participating retailers. We will update this page with all relevant links and time frames closer to the aforementioned date.
Where can I pre-order the PS5 Pro?
Sony has already announced that the PS5 Pro will be available for pre-order through its own direct-to-consumer channel. PS Direct initially on September 26. The system will be available at “participating retailers” from October 10, which will include all major chains such as Amazon, Walmartand others
How much does PS5 Pro cost?
The PS5 Pro costs $699.99 in the US and £699.99 in the UK. The console will be priced globally as follows:

Can I trade my PS5 or PS5 Slim for a PS5 Pro?
While nothing has been announced yet, it’s likely that some stores will offer PS5 Pro trade-in options. We’ll reach out to different retailers to better understand their plans and update once we have more information.
Does the PS5 Pro have a disc drive?
The PS5 Pro does not include a disc drive at launch. If you want to be able to play physical games or Blu-ray movies, you will need to purchase an Ultra HD Disc Drive separately. PS Direct. Retail price is $79.99 in the US and £99.99 in the UK. The system’s vertical stand is also sold separately for $29.99 in the US and £24.99 in the UK.
Will you get any games on PS5 Pro?
Like all PS5 consoles, PS5 Pro includes a pre-installed copy of Astro’s Playroom.

Will there be enough PS5 Pro units at launch?
There’s no telling how many PS5 Pros will ship at launch right now. You may recall that the PS5 was initially very confined in supply due to the semiconductor shortages caused by the pandemic. That situation has since been resolved, so it’s unlikely to happen again. Given the price of the PS5 Pro, its market is likely to be niche, meaning there should be plenty of supply at launch. However, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and update accordingly.
